Football Result: Currin were also winners against Aughnamullen on Saturday the scores being Aughnamullen 0-8  Currin  1-8 Well done the lads. Currin started well Stephen Smyth opening the score after four minutes. Aughnamullen did not have the power to compare with our lads, Stephen scoring three more points in the first half and Jack McCarron scoring a goal. The second half started off well Stephen scoring after just one minute and a goal two minutes later, followed by a point from Tommy McGuire, Plillip O’Callaghan and Gareth Beattie. Aughnamullen scored five points in the second half, due to the fact that Currin eased up when it was obvious they were going to win.  They need to watch this it could be dangerous in future games.  The team:Fergal Connolly, Tommy McGuire, Conor McCaffrey, Enda McCaffrey, Stephen Beattie, Ciaran McCaffrey, Michael Quigley, Dick Clerkin, Francis O’Callaghan, Ben Clerkin, Philip O’Callaghan, Daragh Brady, Stephen Smyth, Jack McCarron, Cieran Kierans,  Subs: Waylon McEniff, Gareth Beattie, Patrick McDermott, Niall McEntee, Paul Rudden.
