Reserve League Division 3

We play Emyvale at home on Sunday at 12.30pm. in the last league game

Minor League

Clontibret 1-9, Truagh 1-8. In a very exciting, close contest on a wet windy evening, we finished victorious by the narrowest of margins thanks to an equalising and a winning point in the closing stages after being ahead for most of the match. Well done boys on reaching another final which will be against the winners of ‘Blayney and Carrick and is currently pencilled in for Saturday, 24th September.

U16 Championship

Clontibret 3-12, Donaghmoyne 2-6. A disappointing result after a good performance brings to an end our football at this level for the year. Thanks is due to the management team of Damien Moen, Gene Gorman and Johnny Brennan for their commitment throughout the year. Well done to the boys for their efforts and hopefully they will be rewarded in the not too distant future.

U14 League

Both our u14 teams edged out good victories over Corduff and Currin in closely contested matches last weekend to earn a place in both the Division 2 and Division 5 semi-finals. These were hard fought games with good all round team performances. Well done to both teams. The Division 2 side will take on Corduff on Saturday, 24th September with the Division 5 team playing   Aghabog in the semi-final which will take place in Aghabog this Sat 17th at 12 noon.

Under 10

Well done to the u10 team who played in the Go-Games last weekend.

Under 8

The final Go-Games for the u8s is this Saturday in Clones. Good luck to all players.

Nursery Training

The final nursery training for the year took place on Tuesday evening. Well done to all who took part and trained so hard all year. Certificates were presented to each child to reflect the significant progress they made throughout the year. Looking forward to seeing you all back next year. A huge thanks to all the coaches, parents and helpers who helped organise and run these sessions; they are invaluable in fostering the interest and skills of our young players and future stars.

Sympathy

The club extends its sympathy to Wayne and the Leonard family on the death of Gerry. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

All Ireland Tickets

Draw for All Ireland tickets among interested members takes place tonight in the clubrooms at 10pm.

Congratulations

Congratulations to former club player, Eamon Ward who won the Donegal senior championship semi-final with his new club Glenswilly against Kilcar on Sunday. Eamon put in a great performance at full back and they will now meet St. Michael’s in the final.

Stewards

Well done to the die hards who turned out in awful conditions on Sunday for the double header. One more major game left which is the Intermediate Final on 2nd October
