U 16 Division 4 league final replay
The final between Blackhill and Doohamlet on Saturday in Toome proved to be a real ding dong battle. Doohamlet got off the mark with 2 pts. Blackhill responded with points from Tony Forde, Brian Bishop, James Daly and 3 from Michael Geehan followed by Goals for Brian Bishop, Niall Donnelly and Darren McCully. Doohamlet fought back with 3 pts, leaving a half time score of 3-6 to 0-5.Doohamlet got off to a blistering start in the second half and were back level with 10 mins left. Michael Geehan kicked over 2 great pts, Doohamlet’s Barry McGinn responded with 2 pts, leaving the sides level again. In the final seconds, a goal from Niall Donnelly secured a win for Blackhill.
