Bingo:
Next Monday night proceeds from the bingo will go towards the Somalia famine appeal. This is a very worthy cause and hope as many as possible can support.
Intermediate League:
Our next match is a real four pointer against our old foes Eire Og on their new playing surface for which they must be commended. This game will have a massive bearing on our progress, and as we all know it is not a happy hunting ground. This game takes place on Sunday 7th August.
Cultural Night:
Remember to keep the 2nd Friday free! Next session takes place on Friday 12th August. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Sports Festival Weekend:
A big thank you to all of those who helped organise the festival weekend, and especially those who helped support all of the events. Although the weather was not that favourable on Sunday morning it brightened out and took the crowd with it. Many of our side shows were well supported with big demand for the “backward tricycle” and the “washing line”. All of our other events like the Table Quiz, Treasure Hunt and Duck Race attracted a sizeable crowd for which the club is very grateful. The next Bank Holiday of the year at Hallowe’en sees us holding our Jubilee Dance to commemorate our 50th Anniversary. This will take place on Sunday 30th October. More details over the coming weeks.
