Clones GFC celebrates 125 years

A Family Fun day in St. Tiarnach’s Park will mark the Clubs 125 year anniversary.
The Club sends an open invitation to the whole community to join us in our celebrations. The club are asking all men, women and children from the town and surrounding areas to join them at the heart of Clones club and Ulster football, St. Tiarnach’s Park on Saturday 13th August.
Our day of celebration will begin with a special mass at 11am, and continuing with
• Under 14 league game v Latton at 12 noon
• an old crocs football match,
• novelty fun games, face painting for the kids, from 2.00pm
• Gaelic game challenges, test your skill activities
• photo & memorabilia exhibition,
• Barbeque & Snacks
To mark the significance of the 125 years, the club are urging members to be in attendance by 4.45pm to take part in a grouped team photograph. It is hoped that this image will capture everyone from gender to generation, nationality and age. The picture will act as a keepsake will live on through the ages and will be a historical shot that will be shared with grandchildren and great grandchildren for many years to come. Our juvenile teams will also be presented with a special 125 T-shirt and club merchandise will be on sale on the day
