U12s:The semi final of the u12 Dev. 3 league took place on Saturday last between Ballybay and Aughnamullen. The team got off to a slow start with Aughnamullen putting over 3 points before a point from Daniel Carragher got Ballybay on the board. Some superb points from Ryan Mc Cann,Darragh Drury and Tiernan Mc Skeane left the teams level after the first third.Ryan Mc Cann opened up the 2nd third with a great goal and from there Ballybay led the way with further scores from Ryan ,Martin Murphy,Conor Monaghan and Abraham Dixon. The match ended Ballybay 2.13 Aughnamullen 2.9 booking the team a well deserved spot in the final against Fergal O Hanlons on Sept. 3rd. A great all over team performance, well done lads and well done to the management also !

U14s:The U14s have a league match in Ballybay next Tuesday evening at 7pm, they play Inniskeen. All players are currently taking part in Parish league.

U16s:Last Thursday evening saw the pairing of neighbouring clubs St. Pats and Aughnamullen in the semi final of the league. This was one of those matches that set pulses racing with Aughnamullen having beaten St.Pats in their first encounter in the league and drew in their second meeting. However on the night it was St. Pats that led the way from the start, with an all over effort from the lads. St.Pats led the way at half time on a score line of 2.4 to 0.4. They continued their relentless campaign scoring another 4 goals and 3 points in the second half to Aughnamullens 6 points and when Adam Counihan saved a penalty St.Pats knew that victory was theirs .Final score St. Pats 6.7 Aughnamullen 0.10.Congratulations to all the team and management, a fantastic performance lads !! The final takes place tonight Thursday against Cremartin, kick off in Toome at 7pm.All players please assemble at school at 6pm. Local support would be greatly appreciated !!
