SFL: The senior footballers put in an impressive second-half performance to beat Doohamlet at home last Saturday. Despite a first-half hat-trick by Donal Hahessy and points by Conor Galligan, Shane Coyle and Donal, the scores were level at half-time (3-3 to 2-6). Our lads stepped it up after half-time, though, with Donal scoring his fourth goal and adding four points, while David Loughran came off the bench to hit 1-2. Shane Smyth (two), Neil McAdam and Emmett McArdle also got on the scoresheet as the Harps went on to secure a 5-13 to 2-13 win.

U-21: The Under-21s had a bye this Monday and they are away to Scotstown next Monday.
Minors: The minors drew away to St. Pat’s in the league last Tuesday. In an evenly-matched first half, two points by Michael Galligan and one each by Shane Loughran and Fearghal McMahon had the Harps level at 0-4 each, but St. Pat’s made a great start to the second half to take a five-point lead. Points by Shane (two) and Michael kept our lads in it, though, and Fearghal scored a penalty to level it up. A Dylan McMahon point edged the Harps ahead late on, but St. Pat’s replied to force a draw, which was a fair result. The lads host Castleblayney in the first round of the championship next Tuesday. Best of luck to Maurice Galligan, Pádraig Reilly, John McMahon, Gary McAleer and the team. All support welcome.
