Senior Championship
We open our Senior Championship campaign with a tie against Inniskeen in Ballybay at 6pm on Saturday. This is part of a double header and will be followed by the Doohamlet v Latton match. Best of luck to the team and management.
On Sunday evening there is an attractive double bill at O’Neill Park with Harps v Ballybay at 6pm followed by Scotstown v Blayney at 7.30pm. A good turn out of stewards will be required from 4.30 onwards.
Minors
Due to play St Patricks in the championship on Tuesday gone by. League resumes next Tuesday when we play Emyvale away at 7.45pm
Crawley Cup
The Crawley Cup final with Scotstown takes place tomorrow evening, Friday at 7.30pm in Gavan Duffy Park Monaghan. Come along and support your team in the first final of the year.
U 12 League
Matches this week end for both teams. In Div 2 away to Magheracloone at 12 noon and Div 6 away to Truagh also with a 12 noon throw in
U14 League
Clontibret 2-12 Magheracloone 3-13 A four point defeat at home on Friday evening last but plenty of football to be played in this competition yet.
U16 League
We are at home to Seans this evening, Thursday at 7.30pm. We take on Latton away next Thursday evening.
Recreational Football
We played three games in Scotstown last week end as follows,first game Keady 1-5 Clontibret 5-3, second game Truagh 2-3 Clontibret 2-5 and third game Clontibret 2-3 Monaghan 2-2. As result of winning all three games we have now qualified for the semi final on Saturday 30 July. We went to Scotstown with 18 players due to holidays and a long injury list, the squad was as follows Gene Gorman,Liam Ward,Shane Magennis,Fintan Brennan,David Ward,Jemmy McSkean,Declan Moen,,BrianMcSkane, Aidan Kerr,Declan McNamee,Kevin McSkeane,Wayne Leonard(cap),Ronan McKenna,Gerry Todd, Mick Duffy,Ciaran Winters,Owen Joe Mc Keown and Mark McArdle. A superb efford from all the lads well done Wishing a speyed recovery to our injured players Brian Morgan ,Nial Malone and Cathal Carragher. Traning continues this week Thursday at 8 pm sharp.
