LADIES

Carrick under 16 girls had a home match on Friday last against Aghabog. We played this game with only the 13 players and as some girls were not available. We would like to thank the three under 14 girls who played for helping us out. All the girls played well and recorded a good win. We have one game left in this league away to Latton on Monday next the 11th July. We hope to see all girls at training.

Our under 12 girls travelled to Truagh on Saturday last to take on the home team. We only had the 13 players required and thankfully no one got injured. These girls played a very good game as it was their first game of the season. We came away with a very good win and hope that the girls will continue to train and do well. Our next match is on Saturday 9th July at home to O Neills at 12-30pm.

Training continues for all ages on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we hope to see everybody out now that exams are finished.

We would like to wish the best of luck to Gregory and the Monaghan senior ladies in the Ulster final on Sunday next 10th July against Tyrone. This match is in Clones at 3-30pm and all support would be appreciated.

Carrick ladies are having a meeting on Wednesday 6th July in Emmett Park with a view to starting up Gaelic for Mothers. This is to get all Mothers out for a little exercise and some fun once a week. So it you have an hour to spare why not come out and join us.
