Fun Day: Aughnamullen Gfc invite all patrons to a fun day on Sunday 7th of August from 4pm where it starts off between the Under 8’s and Under 10’s followed by tug o war among the older participants. Afterwards the presentation of medals will take place in the community centre where the launch of friends of aughnamullen will take place. Weather permitting a BBQ will take place on the day or refreshments will be served indoors. Everybody welcome for a good day out

In a tight first half Currin lead by 0-7 to 0-6 but Aughnamullen gave a uplifting second half display to send the favourites out. Under 21s: have made it through to the final of the Division 1 after defeating Monaghan Harps on a scoreline of 4-7 to 1-8. On thenight they showed good character a shaky start where they conceded a goal but they regained their composure to lead at half time by 1-5 to 1-3 the goal coming from Sean Sheridan. In the second half they upped the ante and ran up comfortable winners. They now play Scotstown in the final. Minors: are through to the semi-final of the Championship after a comfortable win over Inniskeen in Aughnamullen on Tuesday of last week on aa scoreline of 4-12 to 1-9. Inniskeen got the perfect start with a goal inside the first minute but from there on the result never looked in doubt with Keith Sheridan, Shane Conlon and Colin Clerkin to the fore for Aughnamullen. They now play either Donaghmoyne or Clones in the semi-final. Under 16s: suffered defeat away to Inniskeen on Thursday last on a scoreline of Inniskeen 7-8, Aughnamullen 4-13. They play St Macartens tonight, Thursday in Tyholland at 7pm.
Under 12s: Were awarded the points against Cremartin last Saturday next game is against Eire Og on the 11th of august more details later
