Team Affairs:
Our Intermediate team will hopefully put our league form to one side on Sunday evening next when they face a titanic battle against many people’s favourite for the Intermediate Championship, Carrickmacross. No stone has been left unturned and if the players can replicate the effort being put in by the management team, then surely a positive result is on the cards.
Our B team had a good run out against Truagh in the RFL Div 3 on Wednesday night last. Although not at full strength due to injury and college exams our players acquitted themselves well. Some faces from years gone by answered an SOS to ensure we fielded as competitive a team as possible, and also some of our younger minors. We would like to thank them for their commitment and the door is always open to play when the need arises. Last Friday we faced Aughnamullen in the Crawley cup B Championship. We allowed the visitors to build up a commanding lead in the first half and we never gained the upper hand at any stage.
Minors/Under 16
Our minor squad are taking a well earned rest for the students preparing for the State Examinations. We wish them all the best in their studies and hope to see them flying fit at the end of June when the competition resumes.

Ulster Championship:
In monsoon type conditions we exited the Ulster Championship in Omagh on Sunday last. We wish Mark and the rest of the panel all the best in preparing for round one of the qualifiers. Commiserations to Conor Mc Elroy and the county minor squad who faced a formidable Tyrone team last Sunday evening in Enniskillen. Despite getting off to a good start we needed to put another couple of points on the board, however Tyrone started to gain the upper hand from there on in.
