- Senior Football
The Reserveshad a convincing home win against Carrickmacross last Wednesday in the O’Duffy Cup with a socreline of 1-17 to 0-06. In what was an open-draw they now play Monaghan Harps (away) in the quarter-final on Wednesday 22nd. Their next league outing is at home v Blayney this Sunday 19th.
The Seniorsdrew with Scotstown last Sunday 12th on a scoreline of 0-09 to 1-06. They played Ballybay last night Wednesday 15th. Check elsewhere for result. Their next league outing is at home to Inniskeen on Friday July 1st at 8pm.
- Juvenile Football
The Under 8straining continues every Saturday morning at 10.30am.
The Under 12s play their first game of the Summer league at home v Killeevanon Saturday July 2nd at 12pm.
The Under 14s play their next game at home v Ballybay on Saturday June 25th.
The Under 16shave a small break now until their next game on June 23rd at home v Donaghmoyne.
- Monaghan GAA Official Year Book – Key Contact
The club is seeking a contact within the club to gather information required for the Latton section of this year’s Official Year Book. If you’ve an interest in collecting memorable club photos from the past year please contact the secretary.
- Soap Box Derby
Get your engines revving in time for Saturday July 2nd as we prepare for our now famous American Day. Many more fun activities for the day including Rodeo with presentations &music on the night performed by ‘The Full Works’. - Scrap Saturday
Over the next month, we would ask you to donate any old scrap that you may having lying around, anything from a needle to an anchor e.g. kettles, pots, pans & batteries but excluding gas cylinders and fridges.Donations can be left at the central collection point at Latton Centre over the next month, we are hoping to have everything collected by Scrap Saturday – July 10th, alternatively if you contact Paul Quinn, Ivan Fitzpatrick, or any committee member or footballer, we can arrange collection anytime over the next month.
- Support Ballybay Cancer Society
Friday July 15th – Wedding of the year! Our own Chairman, aka ‘The Professor’ is marrying ‘The Teacher’! (Looking forward to the Stag!) Saturday 16th – Marquee with Karaoke Knights followed by the Fuzzy Burgers. Sunday 17th – Shorts & Shades Disco including BBQ. Please support this worthy fundraiser.
