Seniors: Doohamlets losing sequence continued last week with two home defeats against Scotstown and Ballybay. On Wednesday evening last Doohamlet produced a fighting performance against Scotstown. With five minutes remaining only a point separated the sides. Goals from Colin Walshe and Niall J. Connolly kept Doohamlet in this game and only a late rally from Scotstown saw the away side take the points. Doohamlet 2-07 Scotstown 1-14
On Saturday evening Ballybay were the visitors to O’Neill Park and raced into a 2-05 lead with only 15 minutes played but Doohamlet settled after such a blistering start and scored seven unanswered points, Mark Murphy 0-02, Colin Walshe 0-02 and Niall J. Connolly 0-02 were our main threat in the forwards.
Doohamlet were due to play Inniskeen last night (Wednesday) and a victory in this game is essential.
O’Neill Park: Special mention must be given to Eamon Connolly, Patsy Connolly and all our groundsmen form their work on the playing pitch. O’Neill Park is currently in excellent condition and great to see all the hard work finally paying off.
Reserves: Our Reserves are in action on Saturday evening when we have a home fixture against Inniskeen. Throwin @ 7.45pm
Students: Best of Luck to all our students who are currently sitting exams.
