Hypnotist Michael McCoy is up first, then Aghabog will rock out to the tunes of the Fuzzy Burgers. Unless you’ve been hiding out in the Tora Bora mountains, you’ve probably got a ticket by now, no need to worry if you don’t as you can pay at the door on the night. Admission is only €10.

Results:

JFC: Aghabog 2-09 Oram 2-08 AET

A game with more twists than an Agatha Christie novel. Nevertheless, we have scraped into the next round of the Junior Championship where we will face neighbours Clones on Friday 24th June at 7:45pm in Eire Og.

Fixtures:

Toome vs Aghabog in Toome on Saturday 18th at 7:45pm. We greatly appreciate Toome accommodating our request to have the game changed owing to Boogey in the Bog.

Latnamard N.S:

Having recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of the opening of the new school in Latnamard, it is only right to pay tribute to the huge service the school has carried out for the club. Staff. past and present, are to be commended for their continuous efforts in instilling the children with a sense of passion and pride for the Aghabog jersey. Long may this continue into the future.

Under 8 Blitz:

We hosted a successful Under 8 blitz on Saturday. Thanks to Colm Malone from  Monaghan Coaching & Games Development  who acted as coordinator. Well done to Michael McCabe Paddy McCabe Damian Smyth & Dermot Smyth who acted as referees. Our own Under 8 future stars enjoyed the day & it was great to see the support from parents & grandparents.

Under 10 Blitz:

An Under 10 blitz takes place in Cloghan on Saturday 25th June – more details later.

Under 12:

The Under 12 League commences on Saturday with an away game in Emyvale at12.00. We are grouped with Carrickmacross, Currin, Donaghmoyne, Emyvale & Rockcorry in Division 5 which is a 9 aside competition. Games will be 3 periods of 20 mins, with the final score of a game recorded at the end of the second period. The final period will be non competitive and all unused subs must replace stronger players for this period. Substitutions may be made at any time during the game, not just at breaks. Goals will be worth 3 points in this league.

The two touch rule applies and the fouled player must take the resulting free kick.
