Last Sunday we travelled to Corduff in search of our third victory of the season. Unfortunately we came out on the wrong side of the result. Our next game in the IFL is not until Sunday 22nd May when we entertain Donaghmoyne. Our next B game is against Truagh on Wednesday 25th May at home.

Cultural Night:

Our Irish Music session is taking place on Friday 13th May. This is already promising to be a good night with both junior & more seasoned musicians in the line-up. Session kicks off at 9pm sharp. Any singers/dancers please feel free to come along. Everyone welcome!

We’ll be back to our regular 1st Friday slot in June, with a special quest appearance. More details to follow!

Dancing Classes:

Dancing classes continue at the usual time. Ceile dancing on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 pm.  Set dancing on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm also.

Autism Ireland:

Ciaran and Barry would like to thank everyone you turned out in great numbers for the table quiz on Friday night. The night proved to be a great success with plenty of money raised for a very worthy cause.

Healthy Hearts/ Healthy Lives:

Our club will be offering a screening service carried out by an experienced professional medical team. Healthy hearts, healthy lives offer a cardiac screening service to check for the presence of cardiac abnormality in young people that could lead to sudden cardiac death. Approximately 1 in 300 people may have an undetected heart condition. Screening is able to detect many cardiac abnormalities most likely to affect young people. The screening will be offered to club members from 14-35 year old. There is a nominal fee of €45; those interested can give their name to Gerry Lynch on or before Saturday week, 14th May.
