WEBSITE
We have updated our club website, new address www.carrickemmets.gaa.ie. Check it out to see photos from our easter camp, Strictly come dancing and recent juvenile photos. All senior fixtures are available on the website also. Carrick Emmets is also on facebook.
SYMPATHY
The club would like to express its sincere sympathy to the Keenan and Cunningham families on the death of Emma Keenan, Lisdoonan who passed away recently. Also to Seamus Murray and the Murray and Marron families on the death of Ann Marron, Magheraboy, and to the Tumelty family on the death of Brian Tumelty Dundalk.
LADIES
Our under 14 game away to O Neills was off last week and is to be re-fixed. We travel to Scotstown on Monday to play the home team.
The under 16s lost to Magheracloone on Thursday last at home. There is now a break for the exams and we hope to continue with training and get back to winning ways when we return.
We had no senior game last week and some of the girls were glad of the break to help them recover from injuries. Training will continue as normal and we ask all girls to attend.
We would like to wish good luck to all girls who are doing Junior and Leaving cert exams and hope you get the results you want.
HURLING
Juvenile training for boys and girls from age 6 to12 years old will take place in Emmet Park on Saturdays from 4pm to 5pm. All support from parents greatly appreciated.
