CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to our U14s who beat Emyvale on Monday night last at Drumhowan to win the U14
championship. Well done to the team mentors, James Kiernan, Ian Marron and John
O Connor.
MINORS
Our minor
team played St. Patricks on
Tuesday last (result elsewhere).
SENIORS
Our next
senior match is at home to Currin on
Sunday 8th May at 2.30pm.
EASTER
CAMP
Over 90
children enjoyed the good weather at our 3 day easter camp last week. Many
thanks to all the coaches who took part in the camp, to Declan Finnegan who as
usual co-ordinated the camp and Pat Cassidy Platinum tanks who sponsors the camp
every year.
STRICTLY COME
DANCING
The DVD of
Strictly come dancing is now available to buy in Birdys newsagents.
LADIES
Carrick
senior ladies travelled to Killanny last Friday to take on the home team in the
division 4 league. This was a good game of football with only a kick of the ball
between them the entire game. At the end of the match Carrick were the winners
on the score of 5-09 to 2-16. We travel to Doohamlet on Friday next for our re-fixed game. There is training
on Tuesday and Thursday and we need to see everyone. All players will be
notified by txt.
Our
under 14 girls start their league campaign on Monday 2nd May with a
home game against Monaghan Harps. A full report will be in next week’s news. We
would like to wish Sarah Capaldi a speedy recovery from her injury and look
forward to having her back.
