Seniors: suffered a heavy defeat away to Currin on Sunday last on a scoreline of Currin 2-18, Aughnamullen 0-6. It was one of those days where nothing seemed to run right for the team but that will be little consolation to the large number of supporters who travelled to Scotshouse. Team and scorers: Seamus Courtney, Dinny Hamilton, Stephen Ward, Thomas Finnegan, Brian Mc Connell, Sam Dooney, Eddie Mc Ardle (0-3), Pete Dooney (0-1), Sean Sheridan (0-1), Pauric Bannigan, Mark Mc Ardle, Chris Keenan, Stephan Hamilton, Lauren Ward (0-1), Mickey Keenan. Minors: played Blackhill away in there last game and put in a great performance to come out on top by 3 points. Aughnamullen went in at the break leading by 1-5 to 0-5 with Andrew Mc Connon hitting the net with a fine finish. Keith Sheridan, Ryan Duffy and Colin Clerkin(0-3) also got on the score sheet in the opening period. Into the second half and scores from Clerkin(0-3), Paul Connolly(0-2) and substitute Brian Mc Geough kept Aughnamullen in front by 3 going into stoppage time but the home side engineered a goal chance only for Ciaran Conlon to make a superb save to keep the lead intact. Under 16s: played St Macartens on Thursday last and won by a scoreline of Aughnamullen 1-16, St Macartens 2-7. It was a tale of two halves with Aughnamullen dominating the first and going in at half time 0-11 to 0-2 ahead. St Macartens fought back strongly in the second half but the home side kept their cool and held on for a six point win. Team and scorers; Ciaran Conlon, Paul Mc Caughey, Colin Fox (C), Shane Lambe, Paul Connolly, Alan Markey, James Deery, Niall Duffy (0-5), Stephen Geoghegan, Brian Mc Geough (0-5), Jamie Marron, Thomas Meegan (0-3), Micheal Bannigan (1-3). Under 14s: were unlucky to suffer defeat against Inniskeen on Friday last. Aughnamullen 1-13, Inniskeen 2-12. Team and scorers: Calum Blanche, Caolain Connelly, Ryan Bannigan, Darren Geoghegan, Alan Markey, Packie Marron, Stephen Geoghegan, Shane Lambe (0-1), Kieran Duffy (0-1), Kevin Sheridan (0-3), Jamie Marron (0-1), Micheal Bannigan (1-5), Stephen Mc Gee (0-2). 
 
Under 12s: play Drumhowan on Saturday in Finals Day which takes place in Cloghan at 10am. All support would be very much appreiciated.
 
Get Your Paint Brush Ready: The club is looking for everyone within the parish to come together on Saturday June 11th to tidy up around the clubhouse and playing field. There is help needed with all the odd jobs that has to be done like paining etc. so all volunteers would be greatly appreiciated.
 
Savage Summer Camp: is back again full of fun and frolics. Running from Monday 11th – Friday 15th of July from 10 – 2pm everyday in Aughnamullen Community Centre. This camp is bursting with cookery, sport, art and drama activities to suit every childs creative flair. Please contact Martha Duffy on (087) 9061275 or Sinead Mc Cabe on (087) 9580674 to book your child on this camp. The camp was fully booked out last year and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Sympathy: is extended to B.A. Gilliland on the death of her brother, Brendan Duncan. May he rest in peace.
