Scor All Ireland Final: Our set dance team and their band of merry supporters headed off to Killarney last Friday hoping to bring a coveted All Ireland Title back to Chontae Mhuineachain. This was their third year competing at highest level and they were the final act to perform on the night. They gave it their all but were pipped to the winning spot by Patrickswell of Limerick. The Emyvale troupe however were delighted with their performance and with the number of dedicated supporters that had travelled with them for the third year in succession. The club extends their congratulations to Lorna, Vanessa, Mary, Riona, Stephen, Peader, Gerard, Donal and Gerard Mc Quaid. Their commitment and dedication is exemplary and we are sure that the elusive All Ireland Set Dance Title is very close to their grasp.

We would also like to congratulate Cumman Sean Mac Diarmada and in particular their Novelty Act team who were excellent on the night and did club and county proud. Comhgairdeas go leir!
