B’s: Doohamlet 2-14

Our
Reserve Team recent good run continued on Saturday evening last when we
travelled to Inniskeen and totally outplayed the locals. Good performances from
Gavin King, Jason McElroy and Chris Malone in defence. Greg Duffy and Step[hen
Gilsenan dominated midfield and Kieran Finnegan, David Johnston and  Barry Murphy were most prominent in the
forwards.

Seniors:
Our Senior team
makes its bow this weekend when we begin our league campaign with a home
fixture against Monaghan Harps.

Having
played a number of challenge games our players are in good shape and looking
forward to the challenges ahead.

We wish
our new management team of Liam and Tony all the best and indeed the players
for what promises to be an exciting season. Throw in @ O’Neill Park at 2.30pm.

Juveniles:
U16s another good
win away in Clones

U14s
beat in the championship by Inniskeen.

Membership:
Collection of
membership begins this week. Thanks to your generous support last year we were
able to complete two major projects at O’Neill park, which has greatly
benefited all our players. An ongoing programme of improvements at our
facilities has necessitated us to request your support again this year.
Collectors will be calling house to house in the next few weeks so please do
your best to support.

 

As with
last years membership anyone contributing 100 Euros or more will get a free
pass into all home games in the senior and reserve football league, in addition
members contributing 250 Euros or more will be entered in a draw for 1000
Euros. All members are entered in a draw for all Ireland Football and hurling
tickets.

 

Any old
scrap.? The club is hoping to organise a collection of scrap metal in the near
future as part of our fund raising drive. Members will be calling to local
residences in the near future to organise collection of any scrap metal or old
batteries that can be donated.
