Club Meeting: There was a
good attendance at our meeting on Friday last. The meeting was chaired by Donna Mulligan and saw contributions from a number of committee members. There was certainly plenty of food for thought as memories were evoked of days gone by. However, it was the words of a Tyrone man that perhaps had the greatest impact on the night. It’s easy to take the club for granted from within, it’s only when an outsider actually comes along and points out the litany of achievements recorded by Aghabog over the years that it dawns on you just how integral the club is to our entire community. It is now when the club looks to build for future generations that we will depend on that close relationship with the community.“The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dream shall never die.”
