Take Me Out: Corduff Gaels presents for one night only “TAKE ME OUT”. This is a night not to be missed as with the TV Show It promises to be a entertaining show with plenty of craic and twists throughout. Take me Out takes place in the newly refurbished Vanity Night Club Carrickmacross, on Sunday 1st May (Bank Holiday Weekend). Tickets cost €20 each and not alone does this gain you entry to Take me Out but also to the Bank Holiday Disco in Vanity Carrickmacross. Launch of Take Me Out: This Sunday evening we will be announcing our ladies raking part in Take Me Out, the launch takes place in the Fiddlers Elbow Carrickmacross this Sunday at 5pm Sharp. This is an great opportunity to come and meet the girls taking part.

Reserve Football League: Last Saturday night we made the short journey to neighbours Carrickmacross, after a close encounter throughout the game ended level.
Gerry Fruit and Veg Under 12 Spring League : This Saturday we travel to Ballybay. Check with Management for information.
Gerry Fruit and Veg Under 14: Last Saturday we took on Castleblaney in the quarter final of the championship, after a brilliant game with great teamwork on the Corduff side, we came out victorious. This Saturday we take on Ballybay away at 12pm.
Gerry Fruit and Veg Under 16: Our Under 16 team was defeated by Toome last Thursday, tonight we take on Doohamlet away at 7pm
Monaghan Electrical Intermediate Football : This Sundaywe welcome Tyholland to Corduff with a 2.30 . Then on Sunday 24th we make the short Journey to Aughnamullen with a 5pm throw in. Then on 29th we visit Donaghmoyne for a 7.30 throw in. Then on the 1st May we welcome Currin to Corduff.
GRM Minor Football League: Last Tuesday we welcomed Cremartin to Corduff. Next Tuesday we welcome Blackhill to Corduff, then on 26th we play Inniskeen.
Junior Reserve League: On Wednesday 2nd we take on Donaghmoyne at 7pm we end the month on Wednesday 27th we take on Doohamlet at home at 7pm.
Hard Luck : To the St Louis girls team and especially the Corduff contingent. Reaching an all Ireland final is both a credit to your Schools, family and yourself.
Former Greats Football Match: Calling all “FORMER GREATS” from the surrounding area the Friends of Carrick Cancer are organising a former great football match on Easter Saturday 23rd April in Corduff. They are looking for players who are willing to take park while also having a good time. This is for a great cause so why dust off those football boots and lend them to a good cause. Corduff Ladies:
Since we last went to print the 2011 season is now up and running with the U14s,U16s and Seniors all in action over the past few weeks.
The U14’s had their first outing last Monday and the U16s will be in action once again this evening against Aughnamullen. The Seniors opened the season with a win over Carrick in the 1st round of the Reserve League.On Sunday last they played Latton in the Senior League and despite putting in a great effort Latton went home with the points. It’s very encouraging to see so many players returning to play in the black/amber! More welcome!
School , College & County Teams:
Not alone is the club scene busy but many of our members have been involved with school,college & county teams.
Congratulations to the St. Louis U20 team on reaching the Tesco Schools All-Ireland Final. After putting in an epic 90 minute performance they were beaten but what an achievement!Well done, in particular to captain, Laura Mc Enaney, Amy Treanor, Barbara Ward & Naomi Cogan who all did their school and club proud. Also Congratulations to the St.Louis U16 team on reaching the All-Ireland semi final. Once again the club was ably represented by Barbara Ward Captain & Eva Woods.
At College level the Byrne twins Emma & Louise were in action for Carlow IT winning not only a Football All-Ireland but Emma also won a Rugby All-Ireland in the same week! They were both awarded with a Sports Scholarship and on the Academic side of things Louise was a awarded an Academic Scholarship! Congratulations on all your recent achievements. Not only that but they girls are on the Monaghan Ladies Senior panel .Best wishes to all on the Monaghan Senior team in this weekends National League Semi-Final.
Our U14s are also represented on the County panel by Eva Woods,Hannah Finnegan,Sarah McEnaney & Niamh Callan.
