This is open to all members and there are still a few places left. We encourage as many as possible to attend and we would request that at least one member of each management team attends. Aido File: Happy birthday to Raymond Lee, who celebrated his 21st in style by scoring for fun in our senior team’s challenge match. Raymond has been referred to as the Monaghan Harps answer to Usain Bolt and rumour has it his birthday wish was a season full of trophies. Hopefully he keeps bagging the goals and he gets his wish!

Coaching Courses: There are a number of coaching workshops coming up in Cloghan, run by the Monaghan Coaching Committee. See www.monaghanharps.gaa.ie for dates and more details.

Handball: The extra training in recent weeks paid off in the Ulster juvenile semi-finals, which took place in Kingscourt last Sunday. We now have four players representing Monaghan in the Ulster Finals on March 13. Congratulations to Cailean Myles on his victory over Conor O’Neill of Antrim in the Under-12 Singles and to Simonas Seskevicius on his two-game win against Down’s John Madine in the Under-14 Singles. In addition, we also progressed to the Under-15 Doubles Final by virtue of an outstanding performance by Player of the Year Ramunas and his partner Mantas. We have an uphill task in the finals, but we will not be lacking in skills or determination. The Challenger 2 league is progressing well and we are delighted with the performances so far. Best of luck to our players in the Community Games Final on Saturday against Tydavnet.

Clubhouse: The Monaghan Harps clubhouse at Gavan Duffy Park is an ideal location for functions and parties. To book the clubhouse, contact Liadhan Treanor at 086 7837204.
