Scor: After all of the highs of winning their sections and retaining the Deirdre Rooney Cup for the fourth year in succession, it was back to stage for our Ceili and Set Dance Teams and our Solo Singer, when they participated in the Ulster Scor Semi Final in Silverbridge, Armagh last Saturday night. The level of competition was high on the night but Monaghan acts came through in five of the eight sections. Both dance teams from Emyvale progressed to the Ulster Final but sadly our solo singer Edelle Mc Mahon just missed out on a place. Monaghan will also be represented by Sean Mc Dermotts in the Novelty Act and Scotstown in the Ballad Group and Question Time sections.

Our congratulations and thanks to all who participated and represented Emyvale so well at both the County and Ulster Semi Finals, and to all those who helped behind the scenes. Our next trip out now is to the Ulster Final in Newry on Saturday 12 March. Go n-eiri an t-ath libh go leir!!
