Ballybay 1-12 Drumhowan 2-5
Our reserves came off second best against a good Ballybay team on St Patrick’s Day. The first half was competitive and we stayed in the match largely as a result of 2 excellently taken goals by Conor Duffy, leaving the half time score 2-2 (Drumhowan) to 1-5 (Ballybay). However, in the second half, the visitors took control and ran out comfortable winners. Team: Enda McElroy, Barry McGuirk, Paddy Duffy, Kieran Duffy(0-1), Jason Monaghan, Mark Quinn, Paddy Mulligan, John Paul O’Neill, Kieran McElroy, Paul McGuirk, David Caulfield (0-1) Ronan Duffy (0-2),, Michael Atkinson, James Mulligan (0-1), Conor Duffy (2-0).
Fixtures
The Intermediate Football League gets under way for us on Sunday next when we travel to take on Rockcorry. Throw in is at 2.30pm. St Pats Minor Team are away to Clontibret on Tuesday 29th with a 6.45pm start.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Kevin Mooney and David Millar, members of the successful Monaghan U21 team that defeated Derry in the quarter final of the Ulster Championship. We wish both and the team the best of luck in the semi-final.
