Thursday Night Football Under Lights 2011

Monaghan Coaching and Games Development Committee inconjunction with the County Youth Officer are organising THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL for 2 nights in March @ Cloghan under lights targeting U13 & U15 players. This is the 2nd year of this initiative and it is in compliance with GAA under age philosophy in developing young players. Last year I had alot of positive feedback from the clubs regarding the initiative and we had an excellent turn out from the clubs.

 

This will consist of 1 night for Under 13’s, Thursday 3rd March & 1 night for Under 15’s, Thursday 10th March. The games will start at 7-30 and finish at 9-30.
 
Once I have an idea of what teams/clubs are participating I will draw up groups accordingly for the Shelid & Cup competition. If clubs wish they can indicate which competition they would like to take part in. 

 

  
*  Teams will consist of 7aside plus 3 subs(panel of 10)
*  Clubs can enter 2 teams if they want or clubs with small numbers can amalgamate to make a team
*  Teams will receive 2 points for a win,1 point for a draw. In the event of teams finishing on level points the result between both teams will determine who goes through.
