Lotto Result. The numbers drawn in the Lotto for the week ending 31st January were 5, 10, 16 and 24. The Jackpot of 5,100 euro was not won and so the big prize this weekend will be 5,200 euro. The Lucky Dip winners last week were Derek and Ina Irwin, Liscarnan, James Kieran, Derrynaglagh, Henry Babington, Killygally and Shane Brady, Drumgoan.
Club Poker Night. The club poker night will take place this year on Friday 18th February in the Community Centre. Entry is open to all and valuable prizes will be on offer. Further information from the committee and on the posters displayed locally. Come along for an enjoyable night while supporting your local club.
Monthly Meeting. The February meeting will be held in the club rooms on Tuesday 8th at 8.30. All members are invited to attend.
Senior Football. The end of the hibernation season is upon us and training for those who intend playing senior or reserve football this year will commence on Friday evening 11th at 8.00 p.m. The hard work in early season always pays dividends later in the year and the teams will have to hit the ground running owing to the changes in format for competitions. Be on the field at eight sharp!!!!!
Sports First Aid Course. This course will commence in Ballybay Sports Centre on Saturday 19th February and is focussed on those mentors who will be helping with both juvenile and senior teams. The club will cover the cost of the course and further information can be got from the secretary. This should prove to be a very valuable course for those involved with all grades of football.
Prospective Mentors. All juvenile mentors must have the Child Protection course completed if they wish to help with the juvenile footballers during 2011. Two Child Protection courses will be held in February and your place can be booked by contacting the juvenile secretary.
Juvenile AGM. The AGM to plan for the juvenile activities in 2011 will take place in the Community Centre on Tuesday 8th February at 8.30. A representative of each family providing juvenile players to the club is asked to attend.
Coaching Courses. The County Coaching Committee have devised a very comprehensive coaching programme for all juvenile mentors and for those interested in developing their coaching skills. The courses and their dates are available from the juvenile secretary and bookings should be made by contacting Shirley.
The following is a summary of the courses that will be made available:
March 15th…7.00-9.00. Coaching the Coaches for U-14 and U-16 players. Venue …Cloghan.
April 12th….7.00-9.00. Fun games for U-6 and U-8 players. Venue…Cloghan
The club coaching programme will concentrate on U-10 and U-12 players during 2011. The local venue is Carrickmacross and the dates are May 12th, 19th and 26th.

Foundation Course for Club Coaches. The next round of foundation courses began last week in Oram and will continue on Thursday, February 3rd and 10th. The course will run from 7.00 to 10.00 and will include a module on Child Protection. Contact the juvenile secretary for further information.
Membership Fees. The fee for 2011 is now due and may be paid to any committee member. It has been set at 25 euro for the year which shows no increase from 2010. All fees must be paid by March 31st.
