Sympathy: We wish to express our sincere sympathy to the family of the late Francie Joe McPhillips of Anney whose death occurred recently. Francie Joe played with Aghabog in the late 1950s and early 60s period. The friendship that Francie Joe made with players from all clubs he played with endured even with the passage of time. With his travelling companion, Pat Brady of Racane, they rarely missed an All-Ireland final or any important football game in the last 40 years. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam uasal.
