Hunkability Factor
Matt Cardle may have the ‘X Factor’ but Cathal “The Rocker” Sheridan has the ‘Hunkability Factor’ as last Saturday night he was crowned the Monaghan Hunk after a wonderful night’s entertainment. Cathal was up against some stiff competition from other clubs within the county but he performed his “Rock” act brilliantly alongside his dancers Claire Foy and Sarah Jane Sherlock to claim the prestigious Monaghan ‘Hunt for the Hunk’ title. Please log onto www.rockcorrygaa.ie for photos of the evening. Many thanks to all the loyal fans who travelled to the Comet Bar, Castleblayney and for digging deep into your pockets to support Cathal and his escorts. Well done to everyone and here’s looking forward to the Ulster final. Up the “THE ROCKER”.
Santa is coming to town!
The past week the club learned that the traditional Christmas Santa party was cancelled due to unfortunate circumstances. Over the year the club is deeply grateful and appreciates the generous support we receive towards our fund raising efforts and therefore we have decided to bring the magic of Santa to you. That’s right folks, you have heard it right! We have organised a Christmas party which will take place this Tuesday 21st December in St. Mary’s Hall and Santa will arrive at 7pm. So round up the kids and get ready for a magical dose of festive cheer as Santa will have treats for all the good boys and girls and afterwards the kids can stay and dance to some fabulous disco music. Everyone is welcome and one important note all kids must be accompanied by their parent or an adult. We look forward to seeing you there. Ho, Ho, Ho Merry Christmas everybody.
