Lotto Jackpot now €8,200: There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The lucky numbers were 6, 9, 16, 19. There were 14 match 3 winners, each receiving €15: Grainne McKiernan (x2), Fergal Rafferty, Zara Treanor, Patrick Treanor, Majella McKenna, Caoimhe Connolly, D. Connolly, Gabriel McRory (Yearly Ticket), Margaret Treanor (YT), Colin Skinnader (YT), Ursula O’Hanlon (YT), P Flood (YT), Mary McQuaid (YT). The jackpot now stands at €8,200. The lotto Christmas draw also took place last Sunday. The winners on the night receiving eur50 were Nessa Gormley, Genie Treanor, Seamus McKenna (FG), Patrick Bedford, Lyla Steele (Yearly Ticket), Mark Counihan (YT), Hugo McKenna (YT), Eileen Carbin (YT). There will be no lotto draw on St. Stephen’s night or on January 2nd.
Christmas Party: The Christmas party dinner at St. Mellans is now fully booked up. Looking forward to the night with dinner served at 8pm sharp, doors open 7.30pm. All seats are booked, however feel free to join in later for Christmas draw and dancing to late.
Christmas Charity Matches: St. Mellans will host a charity festive games on Tuesday 28th December.

Handball:
County Blitz: The County blitz was held in St. Mellans and Bawn at the weekend for U12s & U13s. We had players in all finals at both venues with both our U12’s winning. In the u12’s, Ryan Mohan won the main competition against Harps opposition 15-0 15-0 while Aaron Mohan won the Plate Competition against Tydavnet opposition 15-4 15-9. Both player’s showed great composure in closing out all their games. In Bawn, Gary Mc Kenna reached the main final but lost on a score line of 3-15 8-15 and Jamie Sherlock reached the plate competition losing it 14-15 6-15. Well done to all the lads. With the championships around the corner, with some practicing hopefully we may have some county champions within the club.
Christmas Break: We will be having a break from coaching as from tonight 16th, and will re-commence coaching on the 4th and 6th of January.
The club All Ireland Semi Final: will now take place on Jan 2nd in St.Coman’s. All support welcome. See notice on board in St.Mellans for details.
League: The Mono league is now reaching the end and we ask all captain’s to ensure all games are finished as we have to finalise the table.
Hurling:
Poker Night: The hurling club are hosting a poker night in St.Mellans on Tuesday the 28th of December.
